A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

Got an achy-breaky back? Trust us, you're not alone. At Barton Chiropractic Clinic we're no strangers to helping patients get out of a pinch. Patients might be in need of a chiropractic adjustment, heat therapy, ice therapy, or a number of additional services we provide to help keep our patients active.

But we also believe in supplying our diverse client base with at home remedies they can utilize to get rid of unwanted back pain.

Read on for a few easy tips and tricks to get out of a jam when it comes to back pain.

Follow These Steps to Rid Yourself of Back Pain

First, hold your head up high, sitting with your legs slightly apart and knees slightly below hip-level. Turn your legs out just a touch and then rest your weight on your legs/feet while relaxing your abdomen. Then, tilt your pelvis forward while raising your breastbone up. Keep your palms up during the process and turn your arms slightly outward. Now hold the position while you take 10 seconds of deep belly breaths.

Sound a little confusing? That's okay! Just Google Bruegger's Posture, because that's what it's called?

What to Do About Persistent Back Pain

If you have back pain that persists in the face of doing the Bruegger's Posture, then maybe it's time to see an experienced chiropractor with a good track record of getting patients back to active. That's Barton Chiropractic Clinic. Call today to schedule your consultation.
