A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

At Barton Chiropractic Clinic we see a lot of patients throughout the year who suffer from back pain that results from the daily wear and tear and everyday living puts us through.

It doesn't matter if you sit at a desk for 40 hours a week or spend your work week on your feet and on the move, your back, neck, and spine need a little TLC year-round. Read on for a few resolutions you can make that will also be good for your back.

1.) Take Up Yoga

Taking a yoga class will be one of the best things you ever did for yourself. Many yoga poses are designed to stretch and strengthen your spine, not to mention increase your range of motion and flexibility. If you live an active lifestyle, you can take a yoga class during one of your off days to engage in a little active recovery. You won't be sorry!

2.) Strengthen Your Back and Your Core

At the gym it might be a popular choice to work on the arms or see how much you can do on the bench press, but investing some to strengthen your back and your core will help you avoid injury. Making sure to incorporate strength training will also help with posture and increase self-confidence.

3.) See Your Local Chiropractor Near You!

One common misconception is that one should only see a chiropractor after experiencing an injury, but chiropractic care also helps patients avoid injury and to relieve the wear and tear of daily life.

Contact Barton Chiropractic Clinic if you're experiencing neck or back pain. Here's to a happy and healthy 2019!
