A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

As we head full force into St. Patrick's Day weekend it's important to remember what a hard night of drinking alcohol can do to the mind and the body -- and that's not taking into consideration any possible injury you can sustain while being under the influence of alcohol, that's just from a nutritional standpoint.

That's why Barton Chiropractic Clinic thought it would be a good idea to go over a few things you can do which will enrich your overall health.

1.) Drink St. Patrick's Day-Themed Veggie/Fruit Smoothies

Blend up some fresh kale, pear, turmeric root, ginger root, blueberries, and a few cloves of garlic. The end result: somewhat of a green concoction that is a heck of a lot more healthy for you than any ale or lager.

2.) Take a Hike and Avoid the Crowds

Instead of engaging in a day of drinking at the local pub, go on a nature hike and get around the type of green that is good for your mind, body, and soul!

3.) Take a Boxing Class

There have been more than a few famous Irish boxers -- and even an MMA fighter named Connor McGregor -- who have summoned the strength of their countrymen to achieve victory. Get in touch with your own fighting Irish spirit and take a safe and instructed boxing class to up your cardio and your fight IQ.

If you end up sore after St. Patty's Day -- either from a day of drinking or from being active -- schedule an adjustment with Barton Chiropractic Clinic. We have a long history of keeping our patients healthy, active, and well.
