A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

At Barton Chiropractic Clinic we believe in the power of a good night's sleep. Restful sleep will help you feel more energized throughout your day and will also help your body regenerate and cleanse itself of toxins you're exposed to  without even knowing it.

When we're drowsy, we're more prone to getting an injury (back injuries being a big one), whether that occurs at home or in the workplace, or anywhere else in between.

Below we go over a few ways to capture more restful sleep every night.

Get Active

Running, swimming, or doing some other type of cardio 4-5 times per week will help you achieve more restful sleep. Our bodies are wired genetically to hunt and gather, and many of us get anxiety because we're inactive at work and at home most of the week. We carry that unused energy straight to bed with us. You'll be surprised how well you sleep after you go "out there" and "get after it" a little.

Have a Caffeine Cut-Off Time

Stop letting yourself have caffeine past 4pm if you plan on going to sleep around 10pm. Try to make sure you're not getting anything more than 50 grams of caffeine on a daily basis.

Visit Your Chiropractor

Visiting your chiropractor is a relaxing experience that will help your body's functionality -- and you'll feel great afterwards. Chiropractic is a drug-free pain management solution that can help you get better sleep at night.

If you have any additional questions about how chiropractic care can benefit you on a daily basis, contact Barton Chiropractic Clinic today.
