A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

Building your neck and back muscles is a great way to strengthen and fortify your spine, so long as you do it the correct way. When we're engaging these important muscle groups, it's important to be mindful of the fact that they are prone to injury, especially if we're lifting excessively heavy weight. Below, Barton Chiropractic Clinic goes over some measures you can take to properly build your back.

Go Light on the Weight

Lighten up on the weight when you perform lifts that work your back and neck muscles.

Engage Your Core

Engaging your core is an important part of getting a 360-degree workout. Think of your core as your midsection -- your back, your abs, your obliques, and more.

Invest in Kettlebells

Kettlebells are great for doing at-home core workouts. Invest in varying weights to get more complete workouts.

Don't Forget Your Neck

There are apparatuses that help you properly work your neck which are worth researching. Not all products are as made as high quality as others.

Chiropractic treatments are a great companion to an active lifestyle routine. Contact Barton Chiropractic Clinic today to schedule your consultation in order to learn more.
