A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.

When it comes down to it, our recovery routines should be given just as much thought as our workout routines. We can learn a valuable lesson from professional athletes from previous generations, athletes who now have trouble getting around and performing simple tasks because they've pushed their bodies to the limits.

When we work out, we put our bodies through tremendous strain. It's important to have a plan in place to recover properly.

Hydrate

Drink coconut water right after your workout -- it's a great way to get a quick hydration boost. Make sure to have at least half your body weight in ounces of water per day to stay properly hydrated.

Yoga

Stretch it out after your workout. If you can develop a yoga practice, this is all for the better. For every hour you work out, you should stretch for half an hour. Your body and joints will thank you!
