A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

Many of us might have a three day weekend on our hands for Presidents Day, which is why it's important to take advantage of the extra free time you have. Making the best use of your time seldom means sitting on the couch and streaming your favorite TV shows all weekend. Instead, make it a point to stay active this weekend, which will likely go hand-in-hand with any health and wellness resolutions you've made for this year.

Below, Barton Chiropractic Clinic goes over a few ways to get in your exercise this weekend.

Outdoor Yoga

If weather permits, it's a good idea to get your stretch on, and taking your yoga practice outdoors might be just the change you need to give you a new perspective. Yoga is a great way to engage in active recovery, which means you're giving your body the TLC it needs without sitting around and being idle. Many yoga routines qualify as strength training sessions!

Martial Arts Class

Taking a boxing class or a Muay Thai class might be a good idea this weekend -- many international instructors stay open over the holiday weekend, too. It's a great time to sign up!

Touch Football

Even though the Super Bowl has come and gone already, touch football is still a great way to get the troops together for some active leisure time.

Barton Chiropractic Clinic is here to provide an adjustment if you experience an injury or discomfort over your active 3-day weekend. Even if it's just for a tune-up, we're here to provide expert chiropractic treatments that will boost your health and wellness in numerous ways.
