To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.

For those of us who are practicing safe social distancing, it's important for us to get the exercise we need, especially as many of us fight our bouts with cabin fever over the coming weeks as we figure out how life is going to proceed. Below, Barton Chiropractic Clinic goes over a few ways to get your exercise in at home, which will help you reduce anxiety and stay in shape.

Use Your Body Weight

Do body squats, push-ups, and, if you have the means, break out a pull-up bar that you can install in your doorway easily. You'll be able to get a total body workout as a result. Kettlebells are also a great investment and there are countless lifts/throws you can do that will incorporate your core muscle group.

Cardio Indoors

Run in place, do jumping jacks, or jump ropes if you have a floor surface and space that permits. This way you can get a good cardio workout as well as a strength-training workout indoors.

Stretch it Out

After your at-home workout, make sure to get a good stretch in. Incorporate some yoga poses in order to help your body relieve the tension that is sure to come about from this adjustment.
