A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

Stiffness in the neck can come about from our extracurricular activities as well as our vocations, not to mention from our at-home routines. Whether you're spending a significant amount of time sitting in the car or at the desk for your job, it's likely that you'll contend with neck stiffness at some point, especially with how preoccupied so many of us are with our smartphones and electronic devices.

Neck stiffness can be treated in a variety of ways and should never be dealt with in terms of quick fixes. At Barton Chiropractic Clinic we help patients dealing with neck pain to regain mobility and range of motion pain-free, so they can go about their lives happily and in good health.

There's a few things you can do at home to treat your neck stiffness, one of which includes yoga and practicing neck stretches and motions that will build strength and improve mobility. Hot and cold therapy can also be used to reduce pain you experience while working through your neck stiffness.

Things might even get a little worse before they get better, but with commitment, you'll notice pain decrease and range of motion increase in your neck. It's well-worth the investment. If you have neck pain that persists strength training, stretching, and PT, contact Barton Chiropractic today to schedule a consultation. We're here to provide essential treatments for neck and back pain during this time.
