A Note To our valued Patients and Staff

To our valued Patients and Staff,
There is no higher priority to our patients and staff than everyone’s safety. Be assured that we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be minimal. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared Coronavirus as a global pandemic.
We want you to feel confident when coming to our office. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our patient’s and employees' health and safety.
Office Cleaning: We clean all equipment and other surfaces after every patient. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and on equipment. Now, we are expanding the use of bleach and disinfectant throughout the office, on elements in the front and back office, and in the lavatory.
In addition, we want to remind our patients that if you are scheduled for non-emergency care and you are sick, stay home or take precautions by wearing a mask. We also have masks available for your use. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please have the courtesy to call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Barton Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Barton Chiropractic at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Dr. Diane Barton

If you're feeling the burn after July fourth festivities, you're not alone. Many of us might have eaten things we shouldn't have (and in larger portions than we should have). Many of us might have loafed around, too. Even those of us who managed to get after it for the fourth of July might be feeling a little sluggish and/or sore.

Below, Barton Chiropractic Clinic goes over a few tips for recovering like a boss after the holiday weekend.

Re-Hydrate

If you were outside on a nature hike or even if you had a few too many adult beverages, it's a good idea to rehydrate your body. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water and watch yourself start to turn a new leaf!

Stretch it Out

If you went hiking, went on a road trip, or even did nothing all weekend but sit on the comfy couch, you're body is likely screaming for a good stretch. Do some yoga poses and take an hour or so to give your body the TLC it needs to feel great.
