Heat Therapy
Definition
Applying warmth (a heat pack, warm towel or similar) to ease stiff joints and tight muscles and help blood flow. Used for ongoing stiffness rather than a fresh injury; Dr. Barton will tell you whether heat or ice suits your problem.
