Chiropractic Adjustment
Definition
A controlled movement applied by hand to a joint of the spine (or another joint) to restore normal motion. You may hear a "pop" or "click", like cracking your knuckles, and feel a sense of movement; some people feel a little stiffness or soreness for the first few days. At Barton Chiropractic Clinic in Homewood, IL, Dr. Diane Barton adjusts by hand.
